A Fantastic Way On How You Can Get Through With Your Summer Break Wisely

If you like to look after kids in your spare time why don’t you think about approaching the summer camps and seeing if there are any jobs that you can apply for! This is a good way to help out and earn a little extra money on the side.

Many of the summer camps would prefer it if you had previous experience of counseling kids. You will also be looked on favorably if you have had any previous experience of other summer camps too.

There are however jobs at these camps providing you are 18 or over. You must either have a work visa or be a U.S. citizen. But some of the camps have in the past used foreign exchange students to help out.

The role of camp counselors is not to be taken lightly. You will inevitably be a role model to the students and should be on hand in case they have any issues or problems. You will also be required to help motivate them when learning new skills. There may be times when some of the camps students need extra care such as help with their feeding or other such things.

For those that have an outgoing personality and absolutely love the outdoors there are often facilitator jobs at these camps. You would be there to teach the students all about hiking, swimming and many other pursuits that are available at these summer camps.

Other jobs that may be available at these summer camps include support staff, Nurses, lifeguards, adventure leaders and many more.

As long as you are patient and love to work with children then there is every possibility that there is a job at these summer camp just waiting for you.

As a camp facilitator and counselor you could potentially be earning around $180 to $200 weekly. You will also normally get free board and lodgings. This could be an enjoyable and beneficial summer job for you.
